You cannot eat a whole watermelon, but you can use it with a knife to get Watermelon slices, which are edible Used as an ingredient in Summer pies Can be used with a compost bin to make Supercompost (see Farming guide for more info)

Where/how to get
Can be grown from Watermelon seeds in allotments (requires level 47 Farming, gives 48 XP for planting and 54.5 XP per watermelon you harvest).

Other information

Having fully grown Nasturtiums (planted from Nasturtium seeds) will help protect watermelons from disease while they grow. You can also pay a farmer 10 Curry leaves to protect them from disease.

6 watermelons are used as a payment to farmers to watch growing jangerberry bushes, and 10 to watch growing pineapple trees.
